The Mohua Timebank is a community exchange network based in Mohua Golden Bay where people share skills, time, and services on an hour-for-hour basis — giving and receiving support in a way that values everyone's contribution equally.
Whether you can offer a ride, a skill, a hand in the garden, or an hour of company, your time has the same value as anyone else's. One hour given earns one hour back.
How it worksMembers post offers and requests on the platform. When you help someone, you earn time credits. When you need help, you spend them. It's that simple.

Governance: Mohua Timebank operates under the stewardship of Mohua 2042 Charitable Trust. The timebank is guided by community coordinators and shaped by its members. Decisions about how the timebank functions are made in consultation with participants, in line with the cooperative principles of international timebanking. Mohua 2042 provides organisational infrastructure, accountability, and oversight while the timebank itself remains community-led.
Funding: Mohua Timebank is supported through the community funding and grants secured by Mohua 2042 Charitable Trust. Operating costs are kept deliberately low to ensure the network remains accessible and sustainable long-term.
